SH - HT - Okta - Register Okta Verify on New Phone

Description: This guide will show you how to set up the Okta Verify app for the first time, or reset your Okta Verify registration to set it up on a new phone.
Prerequisites: To perform these steps, you must have the following:
- Your Olema email address and current password
- A current means of authenticating your account (Okta Verify app or SMS text verification)
- A mobile device that supports the Okta Verify app
Procedure:
1. Login to Olema.okta.com from profile that needs Okta Verify
- Click on username in the top right corner
- Go to settings

2. Click on “Edit Profile” within user profile
- Note: You may not see the Edit Profile button, if so please continue

Steps 3-4 are for removing your current Okta Verify registration. If this is your first time setting up Okta Verify, please skip to Step 5.
3. In the Extra Verification panel, find Okta Verify and click Remove

4. Click Yes in the prompt to confirm removal.

5. In the Extra Verification panel, find Okta Verify and click Set up

6. Click on Setup from the prompt

7. For the Okta Verify setup you’ll need to complete the follow steps
- Select if your phone is iPhone of Android
- Download the “Okta Verify” app from the App store or Google Play
- Click Next

8. From the Okta Verify App on your phone
- click (+) in the top right corner
- choose “Organization” for account type
- on the next page tap on “Yes, Ready to Scan” (and approve camera use if asked) then hold your phone camera up to the QR code in your web browser

9. Click any confirmation and you are all set to use Okta Verify as MFA when logging into Okta. When logging into Okta, after entering your password just open the Okta Verify app to approve login via push notification or with the code generated
