SH - HT - Outlook - Adding and Removing Distribution List Members
Audience: Owners of Olema Distribution Lists
Description: This guide explains how to add and remove members of a distribution list that you own.
Prerequisites: You must be an owner of a distribution list to modify it.
Procedure:

Log into Okta at https://olema.okta.com
- Click on the Microsoft Office 365 Mail tile.

Select the Mail icon
if it is not already selected.

Click on the Settings icon
in the top-right corner. A pane will open on the righthand side of the screen.

At the bottom of the newly-opened pane, click View all Outlook Settings.

Click General.

Click Distribution Groups. Two sections will display: Distribution groups I belong to and Distribution groups I own.

Under Distribution Groups I own, click on the group that you wish to modify to select it.

Click the Edit icon
above the list. A new window will open

In the new window, on the lefthand side, click Membership. You will see a list of member of the group.

To remove a member, click their name, then click the Remove button
. They will be removed.

To add a member, click on the Add button
and a new window will open.
- Select Default Global Address List
- Begin typing the name of the person you wish to add in the search box
- Click the plus (+) to the right of the person’s name. They will appear at the top of the window.
- Repeat this process for any other members you wish to add to the group.
- Click Save

Click Save. Your changes have been saved.
- Repeat Steps 8-13 for any other distribution lists that you wish to modify.
